Today, we’re sharing the story of Ms. O, a case that feels truly fated with us. ✨
Ms. O’s younger brother was an elementary school classmate of Willy,
and over a decade ago, her elder sister gave birth under the care of Dr. Chang Fu-Hsuan, who was then an OB-GYN.
With this connection, Ms. O chose to undergo egg freezing at Gene IVF three years ago, at the age of 39, as part of her life planning—preserving her fertility for the future.
Last year, Ms. O met the love of her life and started a new chapter together.
After some time of trying to conceive without success, she returned to Gene IVF this February to fertilize and thaw the eggs she had frozen.
Because she was already nearing advanced maternal age when she froze her eggs, Dr. Chang recommended PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy) for the resulting blastocysts.
Only one embryo passed the screening, but Ms. O remained optimistic and proceeded to transfer that single blastocyst.
Touchingly, it implanted successfully on the first try, and Ms. O was overjoyed to see her long-awaited two lines. Her β-HCG levels doubled as expected, and her baby is now growing healthily. 💕
Egg freezing not only preserves fertility potential,
but also helps alleviate the pressure around reproduction—giving you more control and peace of mind when planning your life. 🤗
